About the ACJS Degree Program Directory Project: In 2019, ACJS released a request for proposals to develop a comprehensive Justice-Related Degree Program (JRDP) Directory. The contract was awarded to the University of Cincinnati. After some pandemic-induced delays, the JRDP Directory project began in earnest in the summer of 2021. In May 2023, the Directory Team, consisting of John Sloan, Bonnie Fisher, and Tim Engle, completed the Directory and delivered it to the ACJS Executive Board. In the summer of 2023, the Directory Team wrote for the ACJS membership a two-part comprehensive summary report. One document summarizes the methods behind the JRDP Directory, and the other includes multiple tables and take-aways of key features of associate's, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate programs in criminal justice, criminology, forensic science, computer forensics, and related disciplines.
