JQ is published by Routledge Journals under full editorial control of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. The Journal is published seven times per annual volume.

A FREE individual online subscription to JQ is an ACJS member benefit. Members and Institutional subscribers enjoy online access to current and past issues, beginning with Volume 1. The online subscription for ACJS members also provides access to articles that are in line for publication through iFirst and a mechanism whereby members can obtain electronic notification as new articles and issues are published to the online system.

The ACJS Institutional membership is reserved for institutions of higher education offering a bona fide two-year, four-year, or graduate criminal justice/criminology degree program or with a criminal justice/criminology research institute. Institutional members designate one member of their faculty or administration as a regular member. This designee receives the member online subscription. When a university’s organizational system includes multiple campuses, each campus must individually apply for institutional membership if it houses a separately administered program or institute.

Libraries must obtain Institutional Subscriptions through Routledge Journals. Libraries are not eligible for institutional membership in ACJS.

Justice Quarterly accepts submissions via the web-based ScholarOne Manuscripts electronic-submission, peer review, and tracking system.  It allows authors to submit papers from around the world, needing only access to a web browser.  The system enables the Editorial Office to manage articles electronically and to give the relevant reviewers access to those articles online for completion of their reviews.  To submit your article online, first read the instructions for authors, then visit: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rjqy.
